You probably know about remote.devereux.org, a web portal that allows you to run your applications remotely from any internet connected computer. Did you know that you can also access your applications remotely with your smartphone or other internet connected mobile device? Below are some quick instructions to get you started. Keep in mind that the precise instructions for your device may vary. If you need assistance please call the Devereux Help Desk at 800-969-4310.

Do you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch?

§ Tap the “App Store” app icon.

§ Once the app appears tap the Search button on the bottom of the screen (iPhone/iPod Touch) or on the iPad tap any of the buttons on the bottom of the screen (other than Updates) and you should see a Search field on the top-right of the screen.

§ When you see the Search field tap it and then type “Citrix Receiver” without the quotes and then tap the Search button on the on-screen keyboard.

§ The Citrix Receiver app should be listed.

§ Install the Citrix Receiver app.

Once you have the Citrix Receiver app installed on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, tap the Citrix Receiver icon to launch the app.

§ Once the app launches tap Add Account (or if that doesn’t appear) tap the Settings button and then tap the + button.

§ Once you see the Address field tap it and then type “receiver.devereux.org” without the quotes and then tap the Go button or Next button.

§ Once verified the address field will automatically change to https://receiver.devereux.org and the Description will be “Devereux Virtual Apps”. You can change the Description to anything you want.

§ Tap the Username field and type your username.

§ Tap the Password field and type your password.

§ Tap the Domain field and type “devereux” without the quotes.

§ Tap the Save button.

§ If successful you should now see a list of applications. Tap any icon to launch the application.

§ Your password will not be saved permanently. Each time you launch the Citrix Receiver app and tap an icon you will be required to enter your password.

Do you have an Android-based mobile device (smartphone or tablet)?

§ Tap the “Play Store” app icon (previously called Android Market).

§ Once the app appears tap the magnifying glass icon on the top-right of the screen.

§ Tap the Search Google field and type “Citrix Receiver” without the quotes and then tap the magnifying glass button on the on-screen keyboard.

§ The Citrix Receiver app should be listed.

§ Install the Citrix Receiver app.

Once you have the Citrix Receiver app installed on your Android device, tap the Citrix Receiver icon to launch the app.

§ Once the app launches tap “Set up my enterprise apps”

§ Type “receiver.devereux.org” without the quotes in the Server field and then tap the Next button.

§ Once validated the Server field will automatically change to https://receiver.devereux.org and the Description field will be receiver.devereux.org. You can change the Description field to anything you want.

§ Tap the Username field and type your username.

§ Tap the Password field and type your password.

§ Tap the Domain and type “devereux” without the quotes.

§ Tap the Add button.

§ If successful you should now see the new account listed at the top of the screen. Tap the account.

§ After a few seconds you should see a list of applications. Tap any icon to launch the application.

§ Your password will not be saved permanently. Each time you launch the Citrix Receiver app and tap an icon you will be required to enter your password.
